Tonight I made a recipe we hadn't had for awhile. This is the Chickpea and Artichoke Heart Stew from The Moosewood Cooks at Home cookbook. I usually cook this on the stovetop but today I dumped it all in the crockpot (I didn't even brown the onions and garlic). It tasted pretty much the same and was certainly easy to put together.
We also had broccoli stir-fried with dark soy sauce and a shot of sesame oil - then sprinkled with gomasio. Broccoli isn't one of my favorite vegetables but I try to get it into our diet as much as possible. I really like this with the dark soy sauce!
