Today we had good weather and calmer seas. We went for a walk, lounged by the pool and played trivia. It's a very relaxed existence. During trivia they interrupted with an announcement from the captain that there was a service dog on board who needed medical help. Despite the fact that there are kennels on board they do not have a veterinarian on staff and they make that clear when you book a kennel. The captain asked if there were any veterinarians or vet techs on board who could come forward and assist. The trivia host said "well that was the saddest interruption ever." They did give an update later that a couple of people had come forward and that the dog was ok.
It was the second gala night and this one was themed Roaring 20s. Once again, it was so impressive to see how many people dress up. It's not required of course and there are many different places to eat. But if you are in the main dining room the dress code is for the gala. We did our best.
The days have gone quickly and to be honest, I'm in no rush to get off the ship!
